DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY COMPLIANCE
WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is a set of international accessibility guidelines that is primarily intended to benefit users with disabilities by providing equal access to websites and other internet assets. WCAG is enforced by many countries, including the United States (Section 508), Israel (IS5568), and members of the European Union (En.301.549), to name a few. These guidelines are regularly updated; at this time, WCAG 2.2 and WCAG 3.0 are in the process of establishment. Currently, Allyable’s platform is based on WCAG 2.1+ and our team ensures that our technology is always up to the latest standards.
DEVELOPING WITH ACCESSIBILITY IN MIND
We believe that developers are the foundation of all digital content, websites, and assets, whether created by freelance consultants, startup companies with small R&D groups or by huge enterprises with large developer teams. Allyable provides simple tools to help any developer gain digital accessibility knowledge quickly and conveniently, so they can design with accessibility in mind.
By developing new websites based on the most current WCAG guidelines from the start, using Allyable’s technology, you can ensure that they won’t experience significant compliance or remediation issues later. Our browser plug-in, AllyDev™, was designed especially for developers to identify, report and manually remedy potential compliance violations during the development process, directly from the browser. Pre-production mode allows the internal team to test accessibility compliant before going live.
ACCESSIBILITY IS MUCH MORE THAN
A MENU OR A WIDGET
To be compliant with accessibility guidelines requires round-the-clock tools for scanning, identifying, flagging and remediation. Our AllyAudit™ module offers superior 24/7 scanning of your digital assets and pages to make sure you are always up to compliance, using the most advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning and image processing technology.
